Gujarat Titans stole the show from Chennai Super Kings in a last-ball thriller finish.

Winning the toss and choosing to bowl first, Gujarat Titans put Chennai Super Kings in to bat first.

Rashid Khan was captaining the side in absence of regular skipper Hardik Pandya.

It was a slow but good start from the Chennai Super Kings as Ruturaj Gaikwad finally found his lost form.

He smashed 73 off 48 deliveries and was the highest run-scorer in the first innings.

But the fall of 2-3 wickets in the middle cost the Chennai Super Kings dearly.

It was then experienced Ambati Rayudu who along with Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja took the team score to a respectable total of 169/5.

It was a great spell of bowling from Alzarri Joseph who bagged 2 wickets.

In the second innings, Gujarat Titans had a shocking start to their innings.

They lost 3 wickets in quick succession and looked lost for a bit.

David Miller and Rashid Khan then took on the Chennai bowlers and smashed boundaries and took out the Gujarat Titans from a sticky position to a winning one.

Gujarat Titans won the match by 3 wickets and just one ball to spare.
