It was a super easy score to chase for the men in pink as Rajasthan Royals defeated the Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets.

MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bat first.

It was a rather poor start for the men in yellow as Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway failed yet again.

It was Moeen Ali who resurrected the innings for Chennai Super Kings, making 93 from 57 balls.

Skipper MSD gave a fighting finish as CSK piled up just 150/6 in 20 overs.

Rajasthan Royals needed 151 to win the match and secure the 2nd spot for the playoffs.

And RR did have a great start with the bat as Yashasvi Jaiswal hit 59 from 44 deliveries.

The middle-order crumbled a bit for Rajasthan but some power hitting from Ravichandran Ashwin took the game away from CSK.

Riyan Parag too joined the party and Rajasthan won the game to seal the second spot for the Playoffs.

They will now face Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1.

Lucknow Super Giants will be up against the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the Eliminator.

Player of the Match

Ravichandran Ashwin for his 1/28 (4) and 40* (23)
