Royal Challengers Bangalore are the favourite IPL side of many cricket fans.

But since the inception of the IPL, they have not been able to win any title so far. They have the most star-studded lineup than any other team in the tournament.

Virat Kohli stepped down as skipper after the loss to KKR in the Eliminator last season.

AB de Villiers has announced retirement from all formats of cricket.

Previously, RCB had retained Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj.

So, with three retentions, the franchise will look to add more players who can perform consistently for them and make them win the title.

RCB have never invested heavily in getting top players for their side. But this time around, they will make sure to bid for all the in-demand players who have signed up for the auction.

They have mostly sights for Jason Holder who is consistently performing in all three departments of the game with the bat, ball and fielding.

RCB will also try to rope in Shreyas Iyer for INR 20 crores at the auction as they are on the lookout to find captaincy material.

Other players for whom the RCB might bid heavily in the auction are Riyan Parag and Ambati Rayudu.
