Ishan Kishan and SKY involve in a funny interview after PBKS game

Courtesy of Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav, Mumbai Indians defeated Punjab Kings at Mohali two days back.

Therefore, they are now riding high on confidence and will look to beat Chennai Super Kings.

Chasing down a target of 215 proved to be quite easy for MI with SKY and Kishan at the helm.

Later on, the game was finished by Tilak Varma and Tim David who enjoyed the Mohali wicket.

Apparently, the wicket at Mohali always favors the batters more than the bowlers.

While Kishan got a score of 75 from 41 balls, SKY smashed 66 from 31 balls in the game which put Mumbai in the driver’s seat.

Afterward, both Kishan and SKY interviewed each other and talked about their innings and partnership. Surya also thanked his physios who have kept him fit and going before this game.

Says Kishan,

It was a good start, and during the most important phase during a T20 game you were there, you played good shots, and that helped ease some pressure on me to keep playing the big shots. That was a very positive aspect in terms of the match which helped me get into my comfort zone.

In reply, Surya said,

I would like to thank the physios, they’ve worked incredibly hard to help me get ready for the match in the last 48 hours, they would stay awake all night to help me prepare for the match. I didn’t try to do anything special.

Kishan playfully blames Surya for taking away all his credit

Furthermore, Kishan playfully teased SKY for taking away all his credit. Additionally, he also praised Surya for his 360-degree shots against Punjab Kings.

I was standing on the non-striker end when you decked Sam Curran all over the park before the strategic break, I thought, Whenever I play well, you take away all the credit by playing even better, how will people talk about me, you played shots all over the ground.
