Shubman Gill, the upcoming star of the Indian cricket got a jersey from the PSG team. Ishan Kishan, his long time teammate requested to bring it to West Indies.

“Shirt leke West Indies aa jana bro (take the shirt along with you to the West Indies. Please don’t forget,”. Ishan Kishan wrote in the comment section of Gill’s Instagram. Shubman Gill posted the video of him with a PSG jersey with the caption, “Embarking on a remarkable journey at Parc des Princes.”
Shubman Gill recently was part of the Indian test team which lost the World Test Championship Final. India had to chase a target of over 400. However, they could not do it. Shubman Gill could not contribute much to the team in the Final. Ishan Kishan is known as ” pocket dynamite”. His dismissal in the final crested a bit more controversy. Cameron Green did not catch the ball fully was the reason many fans were saying. Even Gill used the social media to prove his dismissal was wrong.
Ishan on the other hand, was only the part of squad and he could not be in the playing 11. He is now named as the wicketkeeper in both ODI and test formats against the West Indies. In test cricket, KS Bharat is likely to continue the wicket keeping duties. However, in the One Day Internationals, he might get the opportunity for keeping roles. The backup keeper for Ishan Kishan in the One Day is Sanju Samson. Sanju Samson got into the team after a long time.
