Indian opener, Ishan Kishan scored a momentous double-hundred in the third ODI against Bangladesh. Head coach, Rahul Dravid certainly enjoyed the innings as he was seen doing a wild celebration.
After losing the series, India stepped on the field for the third ODI to keep their pride intact. Rohit Sharma missed out due to an injury. Hence, KL Rahul took over as the skipper of the team. Moreover, the young wicketkeeper, Ishan Kishan, received a call for his replacement for the opening slot.
India batted first and lost Dhawan early. However, Ishan Kishan took charge of the Indian innings. He was in a different groove and smashed the bowlers left and right. Seeing his blistering form, Virat Kohli took a back seat. Ishan reached his maiden ODI century in no time. However, he was in no mood to pull the plug on his innings.
Ishan Kishan continued his slaughter and reached 150. His intent was clear. Kishan wanted that double hundred feat. And, with the kind of carnage he was displaying, no force in the world could have stopped the young man. Ishan Kishan scored 210 runs off 131 deliveries. He joins the elite list of players who have scored double hundreds in a one-day game. Moreover, Ishan became the fastest one to reach a double century.

Ishan Kishan’s fiery innings kept everyone on their toes. As soon as Ishan reached his feat, Virat Kohli, his partner on the crease, broke into a quick Bhangra dance with the batter. The duo shared a light moment, and Kohli applauded Ishan’s fierce knock.
Moreover, India’s head coach, Rahul Dravid, was seen having a wild celebration in the dressing room. Dravid, unlike his quiet nature, stood up from his seat and roared in delight along with KL Rahul. The magnitude of the innings was such that even Rahul Dravid had to get up on his toes to applaud it.
India posted a mammoth total of 409. In reply, Bangladesh could only put up 182 runs on the board. The men in blue finish the ODI series on a good note. Now, the teams will move on to 2-match test series.
