Ravindra Jadeja has claimed the top spot in ICC Test Rankings for all-rounders.

He has replaced West Indies’ Jason Holder after his brilliant performance in the Mohali Test against Sri Lanka.

He was exceptional with both bat and ball in the Test as he made 175 not out in 228 balls and took 9 wickets as well.

In the bowling list, Jadeja has moved up to No.17 while in the batting list he has jumped up to 37th.

His innings included 17 fours and three sixes and also 3-century stands with Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin and Mohammed Shami that led India to 574/8 dec.

Virat Kohli too saw a change in his rankings as he jumped up to No.5 in the batting rankings while Rishabh Pant moved to No.10 in the rankings.

On the other side of the subcontinent, in the Rawalpindi Test, Azhar Ali moved up to No. 12 in the batting list as he hit 185 runs in the Test.

Australia’s Travis Head, however, dropped from No. 5 to No. 7 in the Test rankings.
