Former Pakistani cricketer, Javed Miandad has severely criticized India for not coming to Pakistan for the Asia Cup this year.

Earlier, the ACC had awarded the hosting rights of the Asia Cup to Pakistan that were strongly resisted by India.

Furthermore, the Secretary of the BCCI, Jay Shah has already stated that the national team will not go to Pakistan.

Additionally, he has also requested the ACC to keep the India-Pakistan games at a neutral venue.

However, PCB has also requested the ACC to keep the tournament in their country and to keep the India-Pakistan games at a neutral venue.

Additionally, this controversy has sparked numerous speculations with former cricketers of both countries giving their opinions on the matter.

Now, Miandad has given a highly insensitive remark on this issue and stated about the security conditions in his country and that India should come as it’s their turn now.

Forget security. We believe that agar maut aani hai, toh aani hai. Zindagi aur maut toh Allah ke haath mein hai. If they call us today, we will go. But they should return too. The thing is the last time we went, but they haven’t come since. It’s their turn now.

BCCI shortlists Kolkata and Chennai as venues for the India-Pakistan clash

Meanwhile, the ODI World Cup is going to be held in India in just 6 months’ time and the BCCI is busy preparing the venues for the marquee event.

For the India-Pakistan clash, they have shortlisted Eden Gardens and MA Chidambaram Stadium in Kolkata and Chennai respectively.

Earlier, Pakistan had threatened India that they would pull out of the ODI World Cup if India doesn’t come to Pakistan.

However, recent reports have stated that the Men in Green will be coming for the ODI World Cup and playing India at one of these two venues.

On the other hand, the two cricket boards, BCCI and PCB haven’t given any official statements in this regard as of now.
