BCCI secretary, Jay Shah has given some good news to Indian fans as he spoke about star pacer, Jasprit Bumrah.

According to Shah, Bumrah is in prime health and can be included in the Ireland series as well.

Since last year, Bumrah has been out of action from the national side and has missed quite a few major tournaments.

Arguably, very few Indian pacers have been able to produce fear in batters’ hearts and Bumrah is surely one of them.

Moreover, he missed the 2022 T20 World Cup, Asia Cup, and the final of the World Test Championship.

But, according to the latest reports, Bumrah is back in the nets at NCA and training hard.

Says Shah,

Bumrah is completely fit, and he may be part of the Ireland series.

Meanwhile, the series against Ireland will be a 3-match T20I series starting on the 18th of August.

Moreover, the final game will be played on the 23rd of August and all games will be played in Dublin.

Jay Shah also talks about the coaching situation for women’s team

On the other hand, Shah talked about a variety of topics during his interview.

One of the topics that he touched upon was the coaching situation of the women’s cricket team.

He has expressed the need for the women’s team to have specialized coaches for bowling and fielding.

According to Shah, the interviews for the position of head coach have been taken while for bowling and fielding, and interviews are in progress.

He says that the Cricket Advisory Committee or CAC is looking into the matter.
