Jhulan Goswami disappointed with food quality at The Taj Mahal hotel

Jhulan Goswami

Former India women’s pacer, Jhulan Goswami was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of food she was served.

While dining at the prestigious Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai, Jhulan seemed quite unhappy with the food she was served.

Furthermore, she also took to Twitter to express her disappointment over the food she was served.

Writes Jhulan,

Disappointed with @TajMahalMumbai’s food quality- served poorly thrice even after addressing it to the staff multiple times. Expected better from such as renowned establishment. Management needs to step up and address this issue immediately.

When she was playing for India, Goswami was a very lethal bowler who could dismantle any opposition with her bowling.

Jhulan now enjoying her coaching role post-retirement

Meanwhile, Jhulan has now retired from international cricket for India and is now enjoying her time as a bowling coach for Mumbai Indians Women.

In the first edition of the WPL, she played an instrumental role in helping MI Women clinch their first title.

Furthermore, she is also the mentor of the team which worked great wonders for them.

Moreover, Mumbai Indians Women won the clash by seven wickets against Delhi Capitals Women at Brabourne Stadium on the 26th of March.

Also, two MI Women bowlers topped the leading wicket-takers chart in the inaugural season. It was Hayley Matthews who picked up 16 wickets with an average of 12.62.

She remained the joint-leading wicket-taker along with UP Warriorz’s Sophie Ecclestone throughout the season.

Furthermore, Issy Wong was third on this list who scalped 15 wickets.

Apart from Jhulan, the other coaching staff of MI Women included Charlotte Edwards, Lydia Greenway, and Devieka Palshikaar.
