England pacer Jofra Archer in a statement appealed to the public to see his worth as a player.

He said that if players do not play in the IPL, they do not get paid.

Additionally, he also brought it to people’s attention that because of the bidding war, he got that much money.

Archer went to Mumbai Indians for INR 8 crores in the Mega Auction.

Archer will make his debut for the Mumbai Indians next season as he is recovering from his shoulder surgery.

He is undergoing training and rehabilitation in England.

The bidding for Archer was rather fierce as three franchises- Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians sought the pacer for themselves.

Archer also has had a conversation with Aakash Ambani, Mahela Jayawardene and Kieron Pollard after the Mega Auctions.

Archer is happy to be a part of a close-knit group like the Mumbai Indians and is looking forward to playing with them.
