Sunrisers Hyderabad’s captain Kane Williamson has touched down in Mumbai to be a part of the pre-season camp.

The franchise took to their Twitter handle to announce the happy news.

India’s uncapped players Abdul Samad and Umran Malik too have started preparations at the camp.

The Orange Army won their first-ever IPL title under the captaincy of David Warner and they had beaten the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the finals.

But last season, there were a lot of problems in the SRH camp as they scrapped Warner off his captaincy and then axed him ahead of the Mega Auctions.

Warner will now be playing for his previous franchise, Delhi Capitals.

Sunrisers Hyderabad had a pretty forgettable season last year. Winning only 3 games and losing 9, they remained at the bottom of the table.

They will now be looking to win the title this year as they have secured top coaches for various departments in the team.

Williamson struggled last year due to elbow injuries and did not participate in many of SRH’s games.

But, now he has recovered and is in better shape and hopes to contribute more to the team and its success in this year’s IPL.
