India cricketer, Kedar Jadhav recently took to his social media to thank everyone for helping him find his father.

Apparently, yesterday Jadhav’s father, Mahadev Jadhav left their Kothrud home to go for a morning walk but didn’t return after two hours.

Additionally, it has been reported that he suffers from dementia and was last spotted exiting the gate of the house.

When he didn’t return, Kedar immediately filed a complaint at the Alankar police station and a search began soon after.

Furthermore, the police accessed the CCTV footage and ultimately he was found in the Mundhwa area of Pune.

When his father was reunited with him, Kedar immediately thanked everyone who put in effort.

Shared Kedar on his Instagram account,

Thank you all for prayers. Will be grateful always.

Ajit Lakde of Mundhwa police station said,

His condition is fine and he has been reunited with his family.

Jadhav didn’t get picked for IPL 2023

However, Jadhav did not have a great outing at the mini-auctions last year at Kochi as all 10 franchises snubbed him.

Additionally, he wasn’t picked in the 2022 Mega Auction as well after Sunrisers Hyderabad let him out from the squad.

Jadhav last played in the IPL for the Orange Army in the 2021 IPL where he was given only 6 matches. In those six, he amassed 55 runs.

For India, Jadhav has played 73 ODIs and nine T20Is where he has scored 1389 and 122 runs respectively.

On the other hand, he has still garnered attention as he has been quite prolific in the domestic circuit.

Against Assam, he scored a double ton in the Ranji Trophy and after that he has scored two fifties and one century in his last five games.

Therefore, now is a great opportunity for Jadhav to make his mark in domestic cricket so that he can get picked for the 50-over World Cup.
