Former India player and coach, Lalchand Rajput on a talk show picked his mixed-gender T20I Indian team.

Both men’s and women’s cricket in India has improved vastly and it will continue to improve further.

Surprisingly, Rajput didn’t mention MS Dhoni in the playing XI and picked up Rohit Sharma and Smriti Mandhana as openers for the Indian team.

According to Rajput, the formation of such a team is a good thought process.

He picked seven male and four female cricketers in his mixed-gender team.

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul come in next at no.3 and no.4 respectively and then he picked Mithali Raj at no.5.

For nos. 6, 7 and 8, Rajput picked Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya and Harmanpreet Kaur.

Lastly, he picked Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Jhulan Goswami to finish the playing XI.

Rajput is happy with the way Hardik Pandya has played in this season of the IPL along with managing the responsibilities of captaincy as well.

He also praised his four women cricketers who have done well for India recently.
