As per recent reports, it has come forward that NCA head, VVS Laxman may become head coach of Team India in the limited-overs format.

Rahul Dravid will be helping the Indian cricket team prepare for the England Test.

Laxman will be coaching the T20I side that will be playing against Ireland in Dublin.

Dravid will be joining the touring party after he finishes the home assignment against South Africa.

Laxman became the head of NCA last year after taking over from Rahul Dravid.

Laxman was also a part of the support staff group that went to the U19 World Cup in the Caribbean earlier this year.

He has also handled coaching positions before, as head coach for Sunrisers Hyderabad and batting consultant for Bengal in the domestic circuit.

India are currently leading the Test series against England on 2-1.

It will be interesting to see if India can script history by winning in England once again or not.

India last won a Test series against England in 2007 that too under Rahul Dravid.
