India’s Test team will be playing a four-day warm-up match against Leicestershire on June 24.
This will be a preparation for the red-ball team which will be facing England for the final Test on July 1.
Also, BCCI will be forming another team, which will be the limited-overs team.
As told earlier, the team comprising all the regular players will fly off to England on the 16th of June.
The white-ball team will also play two warm-up fixtures against Derbyshire and Northamptonshire on the 1st and 3rd of July.
India will play 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs against England starting from July 7 and ending on July 17 after the Test match concludes on the 5th of July.
The major thing about the two-team formula is that both the red and white-ball teams will be playing simultaneously in two different countries.
After this series, India will travel ahead to the West Indies and the USA where they have a limited-overs series.
This is preceded by the upcoming home series against South Africa starting on June 9.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire County expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Indian team to their county for the warm-up matches.
He further added that this match will provide an invaluable experience for their young Test side.
