Mitchell Marsh makes a bold prediction for ODI World Cup final

Mitchell Marsh

Australia and Delhi Capitals’ allrounder, Mitchell Marsh has recently given his prediction for the ODI World Cup final.

Arguably, the ODI World Cup is always considered to be a major cricketing tournament around the world.

Currently, England is the defending champion as they won the tournament back in 2019.

Moreover, India, not having won any ICC trophy since 2013, would be keen to win the title for the 3rd time.

Furthermore, Australia won the title in 2015 after defeating New Zealand in the final at MCG.

Says Marsh for the ODI World Cup 2023,

Australia undefeated, defeating India. Australia 450/2 in the final, India all out 65.

This year, the World Cup is going to take place in India and BCCI is leaving no stone unturned.

All the major cricket stadiums of India are undergoing renovation for the marquee event.

Meanwhile, England and Australia will once again look to secure the coveted trophy for themselves.

Delhi Capitals and Mitchell Marsh looking for a way to get to the playoffs

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals are far from getting into the playoffs as they lost their latest game to Chennai Super Kings by 27 runs.

As of now, there is no hope for Delhi Capitals this season of making it to the playoffs and they will look to turn things around next season.

While they did win their games against Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore, the Chennai challenge proved too much.

Additionally, the David Warner-led side is sitting at the bottom with 8 points from 11 games now and has lost 7 games this season.

Their next assignment is against Punjab Kings at home where they will look to win the game.

Moreover, for Delhi, the absence of regular skipper, Rishabh Pant has hurt them the most this season.
