India are going all guns blazing at the ICC T20 World Cup with their main batters in excellent form.

All eyes will be on KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, and Virat Kohli in tomorrow’s match against England.

However, Rohit Sharma is yet to fire with the bat and he can make an impact in the semifinal.

Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif feels that Rohit is a big-match player and an X-factor for India.

His (Rohit) bat has not been talking much but I think he is a big-match player. He likes playing against England and I will not be surprised at all if he scores big in that semi-final. He has that X-factor, whenever there is pressure, he plays a match-winning knock.

Kaif also discussed in length about Sharma’s captaincy and said that the English challenge is the ‘biggest’ one for the latter.

I consider Rohit Sharma a very good player, but the time has come where the next two matches are the most important ones. The next match is the biggest one for Rohit Sharma as captain, he has had a great record since taking over as T20 captain. The value he has brought in with his captaincy is immense.

Rohit Sharma has been quite a successful T20I skipper for India as he has delivered 22 wins this year. Pakistan’s Babar Azam is in the second spot with 21 T20I wins.

India are in a very good position at the moment and it all depends on whether Rohit will be able to score huge against England or not.
