MS Dhoni loses cool in a rare incident during yesterday’s match

MS Dhoni

Yesterday, in the 37th game of the IPL between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings, CSK skipper, MS Dhoni lost his cool on his fielders.

In the game, Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bat first. The opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler smashed all of CSK’s bowlers and ended their powerplay with 64/0.

Moreover, MSD seldom loses his cool and has been widely regarded as ‘Captain Cool’ by one and all but even he couldn’t keep calm in yesterday’s match.

While RR continued to dominate with the bat, Dhoni was seen shouting angrily at his fielders’ poor performance.

Eventually, RR finished their 20 overs by posting 202 and asked CSK to chase down 203 in 20 overs.

While it looked like a gettable score, CSK faltered very badly right from the Powerplay.

Devon Conway was seen struggling while Ruturaj couldn’t get to his fifty and was dismissed on 47 runs.

Meanwhile, Shivam Dube, Moeen Ali, and Ajinkya Rahane showed some fight along with Ravindra Jadeja towards the end.

Ambati Rayudu failed yet again as he was dismissed first ball while trying to go over the boundary.

In the end, Chennai Super Kings lost the game by 32 runs and have now gone to 3rd place.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have climbed back up the table with a healthy NRR.

When Rajasthan reached the score of 80 runs, Jos Buttler was dismissed by Jadeja.

Jaiswal continued going great guns against CSK and smashed them for eight fours and four maximums and ended up scoring 77 from 43 balls when he was dismissed by Tushar Deshpande.

Furthermore, the 21-year-old took only 26 balls to reach his 3rd fifty of the season and also was involved in a 50-run stand with Jos Buttler.

On the other hand, Jaiswal was saved by a DRS call from MSD in which he was to be given LBW. But, it was revealed that the ball was pitching outside leg stump.

Deshpande once again came into action as he dismissed Samson to pick up his second wicket of the game. Maheesh Theekshana got rid of Shimron Hetmyer to ensure that RR never gets to a high score.

However, some last-minute heroics from Dhruv Jurel ensured that RR crossed the 200-run mark. But, he was run out by an excellent throw from Dhoni that cut short Rajasthan’s total to 202.
