Akash Chopra, former Indian opener turned commentator has been a part of a video on JioCinema. Suresh Raina, Parthiv Patel, Rudra Pratap Singh, and Robin Uthappa who were also on the show were involved in a discussion about MS Dhoni and they highly praised Dhoni.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have been the two of the most successful captains in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rohit has won 5 titles for Mumbai Indians while MS Dhoni has won 4 titles for the Chennai Super Kings.
The Debate: Rohit or MS Dhoni
Akash Chopra said that every player wants to play for MS Dhoni. Former Indian left arm spinner questioned Akash saying that, “You made a good point. But do players not want to play for Rohit?”
Akash answered back saying, “I’ve no idea. You feel more of that for Rohit than Dhoni?”
Ojha replied saying that both are similar. He also said that Dhoni’s record in IPL and International Cricket is very different.
“I’m saying as a bowler. Both are similar. We should keep it till IPL because Dhoni bhai’s record is entirely different with Team India. Rohit has just started his captaincy stint. If we talk about IPL, I’ve experienced this,” said Ojha.
