Naveen-ul-Haq chats with Rajeev Shukla before the LSG-CSK game

Lucknow Super Giants

Today, Lucknow Super Giants’ pacer, Naveen-ul-Haq was seen chatting with BCCI’s Vice-President, Rajeev Shukla.

Therefore, this clearly signifies that the controversy between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants hasn’t ended as yet.

While the Afghani pacer was charged 50% of his match fees, LSG mentor, Gautam Gambhir, and former RCB skipper, Virat Kohli were charged 100% of their match fees.

It is because the duo of Gambhir and Kohli got themselves into a heated argument.

Moreover, Gambhir was not happy with the way Kohli abused Naveen and that’s why he got involved.

Well, this is not the first time that Kohli and Gambhir have been involved in a bitter spat with each other.

Previously, in 2013, they had a bitter quarrel whilst leading their respective teams in the IPL.

And even in the latest argument things got so escalated that both of them had to be separated.

Naveen has so far picked up seven wickets this season

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old also has had his share of spats before. Previously, in the 2020 season of the Lanka Premier League, Naveen was spotted arguing with Mohammad Amir and Shahid Afridi.

Furthermore, in the game against RCB, he picked up figures of 3/30 when he dismissed Mahipal Lomror, Karn Sharma, and Mohammed Siraj.

With the help of Naveen’s spell, RCB was able to post only 126/9 on the board and LSG had an easy target of 127 runs to win the game.

However, it was not at all easy as the hosts were struggling against the RCB bowlers.

Furthermore, in their previous game against the Punjab Kings as well, Naveen picked up 3/30.

Therefore, he now has 7 wickets to his name this season with an average of 14.

Moreover, he has an economy rate of 6.12 which is pretty good for a pacer of his caliber.
