 Pat Cummins on his Injury

“I landed on my wrist on day one in the field going for a run-out. It’s pretty sore. We’ll get it assessed over the next few days and work out if anything needs to happen,”. Pat Cummins was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.

The Australian team managed to retain the Ashes again after the great comeback of the England team. As a captain, Pat contributed with both bat and ball whenever required by the team. However, the Aussies were not able to perform well in the later part of the Ashes series. Broad and Moeen Ali retired from the test cricket. Broad finishes his career with 604 wickets to his name. And he also became the first player to hit a six in the last ball and take the wicket in the last ball.

Pat Cummins scored 162 runs at an average of 23.14 with the bat. Furthermore, he set the tone for the start of The Ashes with his 44 runs in Birmingham. Starc won the player of the tournament in the Ashes 23.
