Pragyan Ojha feels that Jack Wills must feature in the RCB playing 11

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Jack Wills has been in tremendous touch in the ongoing SA 20 League. Former Indian left arm spinner Pragyan Ojha feels that IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore must somehow fit Wills in the team.

Wills scored 62 off 27 balls for Pretoria Capitals against MI Cape Town to take Capitals to a respected total of 182. The capitals beat Cape Town by 52 runs. Wills along with Kusal Mendis has been providing quickfire starts for the Pretoria Capitals. He attacks from ball one and is superb against pace as well as spin. He is a handy off spinner and also knocked over Jos Butler with a beauty.

Hence, Ojha feels that RCB should include him in the playing eleven to solidify their chances in the tournament.

Ojha speaks

“I think it was his day. There was one dropped catch but the way he was batting, he’s got that clarity if you see this kind of shots it tells you that he’s got a very good self-belief, he knows where he is going to go and what are the shots that he needs to play.”

“After that when you see him bowl, especially that wicket, he was teasing the batsman and that is the reason why he was given the ball and he picked one crucial wicket. I think in India, Bangalore (Royal Challengers Bangalore) would be waiting to find out a place for him,” added Ojha.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are still searching for their maiden IPL trophy. The inclusion of Wills might give them the balance and the best chance to win the illusive trophy.
