India and Chennai Super Kings opener, Ajinkya Rahane has recently opened up about the role of Ben Stokes in the CSK squad.
After spending a hefty sum of INR 16.25 crores to sign him up, CSK has decided to put Stokes anywhere between numbers one to five.
However, he will not be bowling for the majority of the tournament, and batting coach, Mike Hussey has also stated the same.
Nevertheless, Rahane says the skipper MS Dhoni has everything sorted out in his mind and he will make good use of Ben Stokes throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile, Rahane has also clarified about his role in the Chennai Super Kings. While he wishes to remain an opener, he has stated that he can adjust to any other role as well.
CSK already has Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway as their designated openers and would not want to tinker with that combination.
I have always been an opener. I have always opened the batting in the T20 format, so not much of a difference in my role. Still, whatever the management and captain asks me to do, I am always open to doing it. For me, it’s always about the team, so whenever I get an opportunity I will give my best.
