Suryakumar Yadav has been in great touch for India in the T20 World Cup. He was phenomenal against the Dutch.

Yadav brought his fifty in the last ball of the first innings with a six.

This year, Yadav has played brilliantly in all the bilateral series for India whether at home or abroad.

Recently, former India head coach, Ravi Shastri commented that Yadav should be considered for Test cricket as he has the skills and capability to play.

I think he is a three-format player. I know they do not talk about him in Test cricket, but he is a three-format player. This guy can play Test cricket and I’ll tell you what, he can surprise a few. Send him there at Number 5 and let him stir it up.

As Yadav is playing so well for India in T20Is, he has perfected his rankings as well in the shortest format of the game as he is going up and up.

SKY is the number one batter in the T20I rankings because of his brilliant outings recently.

When India’s top order has failed in certain games, Yadav has revived India many a time through his brilliant batting and also ensured that they put on defendable scores against the opposition.

Even in the IPL for Mumbai Indians, Yadav has played many wonderful innings because of which they have been 5-time champions.

Yadav has been placed in the Indian middle order and since then made that position his own.
