Ravichandran Ashwin seems like the biggest threat at Indore

India-Australia 3rd Test moved from Dharamshala to Indore. The pressure on Australia has increased due to the change of test ground. From now on Pat Cummins’s fear of defeat is on his mind. But why? The only reason for that is the form of Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.

Australian news outlet Fox Cricket tweeted about the postponement of the Indoor Test, saying,

“The third India Test has been moved to a new venue … where Ravichandran Ashwin averages 12.50 with the ball.”

They did not write anything regarding which ground will be played. They told only about Ravichandran Ashwin.

Dinesh Kartik pokes Australia regarding Ashwin

Dinesh Karthik however poked the Australian media with a cryptic tweet. The Indian cricketer tweeted,

“The admin here clearly is one hell of a worrier! Seems to play more mind games with the Australian team than the other way around.”

But why is Australia afraid of Ashwin? Ashwin has played 2 Tests at Holkar Stadium so far. He took 18 wickets in 4 innings. His bowling average is 12.50. Gave 3.14 runs per over. He has taken 5 wickets twice in the innings. He took 10 wickets once. That is why Australian batsmen are so afraid of Ashwin. Karthik however rightly pointed it out to the Aussie media.
Ashwin was the most successful Indian bowler in the first Test at Nagpur as well. He took 8 wickets in two innings. Among them, the Indian spinner took 5 wickets in the second innings. His partnership with Ravindra Jadeja has troubled the Australian batsmen. That image can be seen in the remaining Tests of the series as well. Dharamshala pitches have a slight advantage over other pitches. Australia was hoping for good results there. But from there, Cummins was under pressure once again to withdraw from the Test.
