The Indian Premier League is an annual cricket tournament that brings together top players from around the world to play against each other in packed stadiums. The first few years of the league saw some legendary players like Sachin Tendulkar, Lasith Malinga, Glenn McGrath and Ricky Ponting take the field together. Now, Malinga and Ponting have taken up coaching roles in the league. And now Ricky Ponting is the head coach of Delhi Capitals and Malinga, the fast bowling coach of Rajasthan Royals.
Recently, on the sidelines of the IPL, Ponting’s son Fletcher William Ponting met former RCB skipper Virat Kohli and was shy yet captivated in his presence. Delhi Capitals shared a video of their meeting on their social media platforms. They captioned it as “Jab Ricky Met Kohli, Extended Cameo: Ricky Jr.”

RCB and Delhi Capitals are currently facing a rough patch in the ongoing IPL season. RCB has managed to win only one game out of the three played so far. While Delhi Capitals have lost all four of their games. The lack of form and inability to perform consistently has been a cause of concern for both the teams.
