The Hundred, England’s T20 league is all set to be held this year.

All 8 teams have listed out their retained players for this year’s Hundred, with Jemimah Rodrigues and Smriti Mandhana of India retained by Northern Superchargers and Southern Brave respectively.

The inaugural T20 competition of the Commonwealth Games will take place in Edgbaston from July 29- August 7.

All overseas players will have to remain in England as The Hundred will commence on the 11th of August.

The released players from all 8 teams have a chance to negotiate with other team managers and coaches.

In this year’s Hundred, it is an open-market scheme, whereby any team can offer a contract to any player whom they want to feature in their team.

Further signings for Women’s Hundred will take place on the 30th of March.

Another interesting thing to note is the wildcard draft.

This will allow all 8 teams to sign up a 4th player for their franchise.

But they can only field a maximum of 3 in any match.
