Rohit Sharma said that There were only 1 or 2 camera angles that were shown. We have got 10 different angles in IPL.
Rohit on Shubman Gill’s dismissal said that
“I just felt disappointed. We mean the third umpire should have seen little more replays a little more of how the catch is being held. I think it was three or four times he saw and he was convinced. It’s not about whether it was given out or not out. You need to have proper and clear information about anything. Not just about the catch. That is something I was a little disappointed with,”. Rohit said during the post-match conference.
He further added about the decision made so quickly
“The decision was made quite quickly. When a catch like this is taken, you need to be more than 100% sure. It is a final. We were at that important stage of the game as well. More camera angles should have been shown. There were only 1 or 2 camera angles that were shown. We have got 10 different angles in IPL. I don’t know why in a world event like this there was no ultra motion that was seen or any kind of zoomed image was seen. That is what I was a little disappointed with,” Rohit Sharma added.
However, Shubman Gill also used social media to show that the catch was not taken cleanly. He has to pay a fine of 15 percent for this reason. Indian team to pay their 100 percent of match fee as fine for slow over-rate. Rohit Sharma and Team India looked so disappointed after the match as billions of people had hopes on them. Now, it is time for The team to focus on the World Cup. This World Cup will be hosted by India.
