“I would love that, but is there a time? That’s the big question. But honestly, in a big event like this, you need to give fair opportunities to both teams. A three-match series would be nice, but it’s about finding that window where it can fit in. but I would love to have it (more games) in an event like this,” Rohit Sharma said in the post-match press conference.

“You work for 2 years and you have only one shot for it. You can’t really get into that momentum. Test cricket is all about finding that momentum. So in the next cycle, if it is possible, a three-match series would be ideal,” he added.

Rohit Sharma further added about the venue for the final of the World Test Championship

“June isn’t the only month we should play the WTC Final. It can be played anywhere in the world and not just in England,” The Indian Captain said.

Talking about the match, Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. The decision in the toss is due to the overcast condition during the toss time. The Oval is usually known for bat first pitch. However, the toss had no impact on the Indian side. Even though, India got some wickets earlier Smith and Head batted the rest of the day.
