Kolkata Knight Riders’ star batter, Rinku Singh played a superb inning against Gujarat Titans on Sunday and received a special gift from Shahrukh Khan.
While KKR was on the cusp of losing the game, Rinku started raining sixes after he decided to take Yash Dayal in the last over.
Surprisingly, all of Dayal’s balls were full tosses and Rinku made light work of them.
Finally, in the end, he hit five sixes to ensure that Kolkata Knight Riders beat Gujarat Titans.
On the other hand, Rinku remained not out on 48 from 21 balls and KKR beat GT by three wickets.
Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders’ co-owner, Shahrukh Khan was elated after his team’s win against Gujarat.
Shahrukh shared a poster of his latest movie, Pathaan wherein he morphed Rinku’s face into his and tweeted,

Meanwhile, Rinku Singh reshared Shahrukh’s tweet and thanked him for his gesture and also thanked him for his unwavering support to the team.

Talking about the match, then stand-in skipper, Rashid Khan won the toss and decided to bat first at Ahmedabad.
The home team scored 204 runs from their 20 overs, thanks to contributions from Sai Sudharsan and Vijay Shankar who notched up half-centuries.
Meanwhile, Sunil Narine got a three-wicket haul for KKR while Suyash Sharma got one wicket for his team.
However, in the second innings, it was a topsy-turvy ride for KKR as they were not having an easy time chasing 205 in 20 overs.
But, Venkatesh Iyer’s 83 from 40 balls gave them some hope but it was quickly punctured by Rashid Khan’s hattrick which almost made Gujarat the winners.
In the end, it was Rinku’s fiery innings that helped Kolkata Knight Riders snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
