“I am not going to comment on anyone’s selection. I can only talk about myself. I’ll never call a selector and inquire as to why I wasn’t chosen,” he said on the question of not getting calls for the Indian team.
On asked which cricketer inspires him a lot, he replied that
“I get inspired when I see Dinesh Karthik and MS Dhoni. I have witnessed all of Karthik’s transformation. At this point of my career, he is my greatest inspiration and motivator.” said the batsman Sheldon Jackson
Jackson further added that
“If I wasn’t good enough, I wouldn’t have played 90+ games with an average close to 50,”. Jackson responded. The wicketkeeper batsman made his first class debut in the year 2011 for Saurashtra. He has been part of 90 first class games and scored more than 6000 plus runs. Those 6000 plus runs include 20 centuries and 36 half-centuries. In List-A cricket, Sheldon Jackson has played 77 matches and scored 2643 runs at an amazing average of 38.30.
