Shivam Dube will not play in Ranji Trophy’s knockout stage

As per the latest news, Shivam Dube, the 28-year-old all-rounder will not feature for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy knockouts.

Dube after sustaining a shoulder injury while playing for the Chennai Super Kings will remain unavailable for selection.

Similarly, Ajinkya Rahane too will not play in the domestic tournament due to a hamstring injury.

The reins of captaincy have been handed to Prithvi Shaw once again.

The selectors led by Salil Ankola have chosen Musheer Khan, the younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan in the squad.

Additionally, Musheer has done well in age-group cricket and thus the selection committee found him an excellent choice for the Mumbai squad.

Mumbai is all set to play Uttarakhand on the 6th of June in Bengaluru. The other knockout fixtures are Bengal vs Jharkhand, Karnataka vs Uttar Pradesh and Punjab vs Madhya Pradesh.

Prithvi Shaw (c), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Bhupen Lalwani, Arman Jaffer, Sarfaraz Khan, Suved Parkar, Aakarshit Gomel, Aditya Tare, Hardik Tamore, Aman Khan, Sairaj Patil, Shams Mulani, Dhrumil Matkar, Tanush Kotian, Shashank Attarde, Dhaval Kulkarni, Tushar Deshpande, Mohit Awasthi, Roystan Dias, Siddharth Raut and Musheer Khan.
