HONOURED TO BE A PART OF RCB: SOPHIE DEVINE

Virat Kohli played a sensational knock against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2022. That knock left fans in awe of his performance. He scored an unbeaten 82 runs off just 53 deliveries, helping India chase down a target of 160 runs on the last ball with four wickets in hand. Kohli hit four sixes, including a memorable one off Haris Rauf’s delivery in the 19th over, which impressed everyone. Sophie Devine, the New Zealand captain, even dubbed it as the ‘shot of the year’. Kohli hit a straight six above Haris Rauf’s head, showcasing his incredible skills with the bat.

“Having watched RCB at the IPL, and all their quality players, it is an honour to be part of the team for WPL. To be here and finally be in the RCB colours is something I have been looking forward to. Kohli’s competitive nature is something I relate to. I enjoyed watching his innings against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. That straight six (off Haris Rouf) was the shot of the year in cricket. You have to admire the batsmanship to execute that shot,”
