Umran Malik, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s pace sensation has outdone himself yet again.
He has now clocked the fastest delivery of the IPL at 156.9 kph against Delhi Capitals on Thursday.
Although the game did not go in the favour of the Sunrisers, Malik did manage to leave an impact once again through his speed.
SRH lost the game by 21 runs against Delhi.
Previously, Anrich Nortje’s 156.22 kph was the fastest delivery of the IPL.
This delivery remained the fastest from 2012 to 2020.
Coming back to the match, Umran Malik had a rather forgettable outing with the ball where he went wicketless and even gave away 52 runs.
Umran has now given the highest amount of runs since his 13 IPL appearances this year.
Malik had once told in an interview at the post-match presentation that he would like to go above the 155 kph limit in his bowling.
And he has done it to perfection and achieved his goal.
