Tom Taylor to play for Worcestershire for next four years

Tom Taylor gets huge praise from Worcestershire’s chief executive Ashley Giles ahead of his arrival.

“We’re absolutely delighted to sign a player of Tom’s all-round quality for the next four years. It says much about the club and where we are aiming to go when someone is prepared to commit themselves for such an extended period,”. Ashley Giles was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.

Worcestershire Coach further said that

“Tom has been on my radar for quite a while… We are getting someone who has really good, three-facet skills in all formats. We feel it is quite a coup to get Tom Taylor to come over and play for us,”. Richardson mentioned.

“It’s disappointing Tom has chosen to move on. I’d like to thank Tom for his efforts over the past three years and wish him well for the next stages of his career,”.Payne mentioned.

The 29 year old allrounder Tom Taylor has 243 wickets in his name. And in batting he has scored more than 2500 runs in all forms of cricket. Along with the allrounder, the Worcestershire team has signed three more players Jack Haynes, Dillon Pennington and Josh Tongue.
