Virat Kohli and Seven Team India Members Depart for England

Indian players, including Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav, and Mohammed Siraj, are scheduled to depart for England on Tuesday, May 23. To adequately prepare for the World Test Championship finale against Australia. Meanwhile, Cheteshwar Pujara, India’s red-ball specialist, is already in England participating in the ongoing County Championship Division 2. Despite his leadership role in Sussex, he will depart the tournament midway to join the national team. Pujara’s presence and impressive performance add to the team’s preparation for the crucial match against Australia.

Pacers Umesh Yadav and Jaydev Unadkat declared fit and will travel to England

According to a report by Sportstar, Umesh Yadav and Jaydev Unadkat have received medical clearance. They’ll participate in the World Test Championship finals. Earlier, Unadkat had to withdraw from the tournament due to an injury. While Umesh did not play in the latter half of the IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders. However, both players have recovered and will be joining the team in England on Tuesday.

On June 7 at the Oval in London, the WTC Final will commence. Australian cricketers Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne are already in England, actively participating in the County Championship. The remaining members of the Australian team will soon join them to prepare for the crucial match.
