Star India batter, Virat Kohli has recently applauded Pakistan’s Babar Azam for the latter’s consistency in cricket.
Kohli says that Azam has the ability to score runs in all three formats of the game and is currently the best batsman in world cricket.
He is probably the top batsman in the world right now across formats, performing so consistently.
Babar is currently leading Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia. He has managed to score 39 runs in five matches.
Additionally, Babar’s average is 7.80, and the strike rate is 61.90 in the tournament.
Even though Babar is struggling to amass runs at the top of the order, Pakistan nevertheless are in the semifinals of the tournament.
Moreover, they are going to face New Zealand today in Sydney to get a spot in the finals.
Kohli also added that the Pakistan batsman shines through in all three formats which is extremely difficult to achieve nowadays.
