Virat Naveen controversy tolls the air; Kohli showing shoe triggers it

Controversy throughout the match was the defeat of Lucknow Super Giants at Lucknow ground. Sometimes during the match, sometimes after the match, there was trouble, grumbling, arguments. But has it all started for Virat reacting to the banters from Naveen? A video suggests so. What is in that video?

In the video, Virat is seen showing off his shoes. Before the time he committed that act, Virat had a fight with Afghanistan pacer Naveen Ul Haq. In the middle of the conversation with Naveen, the former Indian captain pointed to the soles of the shoes. Was he showing that to the Afghan pacer? The answer did not came after match. However, the umpire and Lucknow’s Amit Mishra came forward to stop Virat. They pacify Virat. Virat went back to fielding.

Virat and Gambhir fined 100% and Naveen fined 50% of the match fee

At the end of the match Virat had a problem with Gambhir even though he did not argue with Naveen. Several cricketers from both teams had to come forward to stop them. Virat and Gambhir’s troubles are long-standing. They have been seen yelling at each other before in the IPL. The supporters also saw them raising bat at each other.

Both Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir had to give 100 percent of their match fees following the incident in Monday’s match. Naveen also argued in the field. He also had to give 50 percent of his match fee.

RCB batted first and scored 126 runs on Monday. Lucknow finished with 108 runs. Virat and his team won the match by 18 runs. After winning that match, RCB has reached the fifth position in the league table with 10 points in 9 matches.
