India women put up an all-round performance with both bat and ball as they beat West Indies women in their second warm-up match before the Women’s World Cup.

Smriti Mandhana, Mithali Raj, Yastika Bhatia and Deepti Sharma set up a huge total for India.

Shafali Verma again got out on a duck. India ultimately scored 258 all out.

Mandhana made 66 runs while Deepti, Bhatia and Raj played handy knocks to give India a winnable total.

For the West Indies, Cherry Ann-Fraser, Karishma Ramharack and Hayley Matthews were the pick of the bowlers who took 2 wickets apiece.

But, the West Indies batters collapsed during the run-chase as they were tottering at 53/4.

Pooja Vastrakar, Deepti Sharma and Meghna Singh made in-roads into the West Indies batting line-up.

Thus, West Indies closed at 177/9 in their 50 overs thus giving India an 81-run win over them.

On the other hand, New Zealand continued their superb batting form and beat Australia by 9 wickets in their second warm-up match.

Australia made a steep target of 321 and were confident enough to defend it successfully.

For them, Meg Lanning, Alyssa Healy, Beth Mooney and Ashleigh Gardner made half-centuries.

But, it was New Zealand who dominated the second half of the innings with Sophie Devine who remained not out on 162.

Amelia Kerr and Suzie Bates too smashed the fifties in the innings.

Australia looked clueless after taking a single wicket in the match.
