Yashasvi Jaiswal shares the experiences he had while opening the batting with Jos Butler. The duo opening the batting for Rajasthan Royals despite this pair, they have Padikkal and Sanju Samson who can open. However, these two give the firepower quick starts in the powerplay. The Indian opener says he has learned a lot from the English batter on how to have the intent in the powerplay. The only problem with Yashasvi is that he gets out after getting the quick fifty. He is not able to convert it to big scores. Cricket experts say the youngster will learn as time progress.

“In the powerplay, as Jos (Buttler) bhai always says, we have to have good intent and cricketing shots. I just try and follow that. I keep learning from him, different shots and (having) different mindsets which has really helped me to improve my game as a player,” 

Yashasvi further added that

“The best thing was the environment we had. Everyone was aware of their roles and was trying to follow that. We kept backing and supporting each other and giving it our all to achieve one goal. We are trying to the same this year and try our best (to make the final),” 

He has scored 125 runs in the three matches they played. He is giving great support to Jos Butler to take the team’s score bigger. The opener failed to make an impact in the recent match against Chennai Super Kings. But Rajasthan won the match in the last ball.
