After Mumbai Indians became successful in acquiring Jofra Archer in the recently concluded IPL Mega Auctions, owner Akash Ambani expressed his excitement to watch Archer and Bumrah bowl in tandem next year’s IPL.

Zaheer Khan too voiced equal sentiment with Ambani’s statement.

Archer will not be participating in this year’s IPL after he underwent elbow surgery.

Mumbai Indians decided to buy Archer on Saturday.

The franchise was showing interest in the pacer even before the auction.

Meanwhile, the franchise was also able to secure Singapore-born Australian batsman Tim David.

David played in The Hundred for the Southern Brave and has the ability to hit the ball really hard and has been quite successful in the Big Bash League as well.

Mahela Jayawardene revealed that the Mumbai Indians were targeting players of The Hundred for their squad.

Jayawardene revealed that the combination of David and Kieron Pollard will bode well for their team.

Tymal Mills has also been bought by the franchise in the auction
