The IPL Media Rights Tender is just a few days away now.

All the parties have been selected by the BCCI for the e-auction and Mjunction has been selected to host the auction for the Media Rights on June 12 and 13.

In recent developments for the same, media conglomerate Zee Media has decided to go solo for the bidding process.

This is because they don’t have any debts as of now and also have surplus money in their account.

When asked if they would have to take a loan for the IPL e-auction, Punit Goenka said that they don’t have any debts and the only thing that they need to worry about is the bank guarantee.

Mjunction has previously arranged auctions for the BCCI.

For the e-auction, they will be conducting workshops and mock auctions for all the interested parties.

The package of interest in the e-auction is Package C which contains the Non-Exclusive Package for Digital.

There are 18 games in this package which include the opening match, 4 playoff matches and 13 evening doubleheader games.
