Delhi Capitals is already out of the playoffs race in this Indian Premier League. Their regular skipper ruling out of the tournament has made them this much. David Warner as a captain of the team struggled a lot to score quick runs for the team. Ajit Agarkar, Delhi Capitals’ Assitant Coach said that there are still two more points to play for. He further said that the pride is there in those points for his team.

Ajit Agarkar’s words

Dharamsala is a spectacular venue. Hopefully, we’ll get a good batting track which will give the batters a chance to play a bit more freely.”

There’s a lot of pride at stake and there are still two points to play for. We won’t change our approach and we will try to finish as high as possible on the points table.” said Ajit Agarkar

Agarkar further added, “We lost too many wickets in a cluster in the last game. We got off to a good start, but we couldn’t finish the match. We’ll look to improve upon this aspect of our batting in our next two games.”

Ajit Agarkar further added that

“Ishant has been really good around the group. The younger bowlers can learn from the way he has conducted himself and prepared for games. He’s been terrific for us this season.” concluded Ajit Agarkar

The star performer for Delhi this year is their Vice captain Axar Patel. He has contributed both with the bat and the ball. David Warner and Ishant Sharma have done a decent performance for the team.
