Stoinis, Pooran help LSG beat RCB by one wicket

The match between Bangalore and Lucknow in the IPL 2023 season was a thrilling encounter. In the first innings, the home team got off to a solid start with Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis setting the tone. Later, Glenn Maxwell played a brilliant knock towards the end to help Bangalore post a massive total of 212 runs in their 20 overs.

Lucknow didn’t start well in the second innings. However, Marcus Stoinis played a superb innings of 65 runs off just 30 deliveries to turn the game around. Nicholas Pooran also played an outstanding knock, scoring 62 runs off just 19 deliveries. He registered the fastest half-century of the tournament so far.

Despite these heroics, the game wasn’t over yet as the responsibility fell on Ayush Badoni’s shoulders to finish the job. He showed great maturity and scored 30 runs off 24 deliveries. However, his wicket fell after he hit the stumps with his bat while trying to hit a six.
