Graeme Swann says Afghanistan can win the World Cup if

Graeme Swann says that after India, Afghanistan has got the best wrist spinners in the world. He praised the spinners of Gujarat Titans Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad for their performance in this Indian Premier League. After the eleven matches in the tournament, the spinners have picked 30 wickets for GT in this IPL. Rashid Khan is already a T20 star who plays league matches all around the World. The 23 year old has played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL and now plays for Gujarat Titans. In the SA20 league, he plays for the MI Cape Town team. He has already captained the Afghanistan team in a few matches. He might also lead the team in this Year’s World Cup in India.

Graeme Swann said that

“Every nation should be jealous that India has so many good wrist spinners in the country. The only nation that shouldn’t be jealous is Afghanistan. Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad are possibly the best two bowlers in the world currently. Afghanistan can win the World Cup if they keep going,” Graeme Swann said.

Noor Ahmad is just 18 years old, but has been backed and praised much by the Gujarat captain Hardik Pandya. Noor has taken 11 wickets in the seven matches he has played in this tournament so far. In Jio Cinema the former England Player Graeme Swann praised both the spinners. He further added that these two are the best bowlers in the world currently. Afghanistan will be playing their third World Cup in 2023 in India.
