The Indian Captain Rohit Sharma and former Captain Virat Kohli are among the top earners through test cricket for India. Test Cricket is still a respected format of the cricket and also the oldest format of the game. To make it more interesting ICC came up with the idea of the World Test Championship, which made the format more interesting for the fans. India made it to the final in the both times. However, they were not able to cross the final line on both occasions.
Here are the earnings of the Indian cricketers through this format of the game. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja are some of the top earners. All the three star players have earned more than one crore in 2023. They also come under the category of A+ in Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) contract. Therefore, they all get INR 7 crore annually.
The star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah also comes under the category of A+ in BCCI contract. However, his injury has kept him out of cricket for more than a year now. He is going to make a comeback in August.
