Irfan Pathan predicts Cameron Green as cricket’s next big thing

Mumbai Indians

Australia’s Cameron Green has been praised by former India cricketer Irfan Pathan, who believes that the young player has the potential to become the next big superstar in world cricket. During the IPL auction, Green was signed by five-time champions Mumbai Indians for INR 17.50 crore. He has quickly made an impact in the tournament, as demonstrated in MI’s recent match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Despite the struggles of some of his teammates, Green’s impressive knock of 64* runs off 40 deliveries kept Mumbai in the game and helped them post a total of 192 runs. Additionally, he took one wicket with the ball, conceding just 29 runs in four overs. Pathan believes that Green is continually improving and will be a player to watch in the future. The all-rounder’s talent and potential have caught the attention of cricket enthusiasts. It will be interesting to see how he continues to perform throughout the IPL and beyond.

“Cameron Green is going to be the next superstar in world cricket. He’s a talented player and we are going to more of him because he is raising his game with every passing day,”

Mumbai need superstars like Green in absence of key players: Finch

Mumbai Indians secured their third victory of the season against Hyderabad, thanks to the impressive performances of their young players. Tilak Verma was particularly noteworthy with his excellent batting. While Arjun Tendulkar delivered superbly with the ball in both the opening and final overs. As a result, the team led by Rohit Sharma has risen to sixth place in the IPL Points Table. Despite the absence of stars such as Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer, the youth of the Mumbai Indians have stepped up and delivered when needed.
