Jay Shah said that some members suggest him to change a few dates in the World Cup 23 schedule.

“We have received requests from 2-3 member boards to change match dates. It’s not specific to India Pakistan match,” BCCI secretary Jay Shah said.
After various reports on the change of dates for the High intensity India Vs Pakistan game. The BCCI secretary hinted that there could be some changes in the schedule. However, the venue is most likely not to be changed but the dates are likely to be changed. This is due to the sugesstion made by the members of the board.
The dates are being changed due to the security concern on the occasion of Navratri. The Gujarat police might not be able to provide the amount of security due to the festival. Jay Shah also gave an another update on the Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah that he is fit to play. There were reports that Bumrah may play in the Ireland T20I series, but it is now most likely to happen. The final decision on Bumrah’s availability will be done after the practice match at the National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru.
