Kapil Dev says ‘ Do we want him to play all his life’ on MSD

Kapil Dev makes a statement on fans requesting MS Dhoni not to retire. He has questioned that do we want him to play all his life. MS Dhoni will be playing his 250th T20 match in the final. Rayudu has already mentioned that he is retiring there will be no more u turn in that decision.

Kapil Dev on MS Dhoni said that

He has been playing IPL for 15 years. Why is it that we are only talking about Dhoni? He has done his work. What more do we want from him? Do we want him to play all his life? That is not going to happen. We should instead be thankful that he played for 15 years. Whether he plays next year or not, before departing he has played impressively. He may not have scored big runs but he led the team to the final and it shows what is the importance of a skipper in the game of cricket,” said Kapil Dev

Rain on the day of the final has made to change the final to reserve day. The finals have been shifted to Monday. Rain is not likely to take part on Monday. Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings already met in the Qualifier 1 at Chennai. Super Kings used the home advantage and won the match easily but they might not do the same now. The Titans will now use the home advantage and perform well in front of their home crowd. Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first.
